主要研究领域 Research

以我国西部,特别是青藏高原特有种和濒危物种为研究对象,应用二代测序的基因组数据,研究物种的系统发育、适应性进化、种群历史和濒危机制等问题。目前研究的主要对象为:啮齿动物;狼;猕猴属物种。

My research interests go beyond the scope of conservation genomics. I am using the genome data from the next-generation sequencing technology to explore the phylogeny, adaptive evolution, and demography of endemic and/or endangered species in Western China. Currently, I am working on rodents, wolf and macaques.


目前研究方向 Current projects

1. 猕猴属物种间基因交流研究 Gene flow between macaque species

猕猴物种分化时间短,在历史上和现今均有物种间的基因交流事件发生。本课题组前期通过对全基因组数据分析发现藏酋猴 (Tibetan macaque) 四川亚种和中国恒河猴 (Chinese rhesus macaque) 之间很可能发生过较为古老的基因渐渗。那么,藏酋猴四个亚种中的另外三个亚种是否也和中国恒河猴有基因渐渗?红面猴 (Macaca arctoides) 是否如以往基于有限分子比较的研究所揭示的那样是个杂交物种?目前我们正在基于全基因组数据,对猕猴物种中得基因交流问题进行更全面深入的研究.

2. 世界范围内狼遗传多样性和种群历史研究 Genetic diversity and demography of world wide wolves

以狼为代表的犬科动物具有极强的适应能力和迁移能力。早期基于个别分子标记的研究发现在狼种群内部并没有显著的遗传结构,而近年以基于全基因组水平的SNP数据和全基因组序列为数据的研究发现狼种内部还是出现了显著的遗传分化,在同一个大洲 (如北美洲) 还出现了基于不同生境的亚种群结构。但在全世界范围内,各地狼之间的遗传分化是什么程度?各大洲狼种群间的种群历史有何异同?等等问题,还缺乏大数据的全面分析。因此我们收集了欧洲、中东、亚洲、美洲的不同地点的狼,以及非洲、澳洲等地的较古老犬科动物为外群,基于高测序深度的全基因组数据对上述问题进行探讨。

本研究主要合作者:美国加州大学洛杉矶分校 Robert Wayne 教授;西班牙Institut de Biologia Evolutiva (CSIC-Universitat Pompeu Fabra)的Tomás Marquès-Bonet 教授
